Chicken Caesar Wraps Recipe | Easy Chicken Caesar Wraps Recipe

For this edition, we kept things rather simple. We wanted to end the discussion about whether croutons belong in a chicken Caesar wrap (spoiler: they do), but we also want to encourage you to make your own golden miracles out of white bread. They get together in about 15 minutes and change everything.
However, the dressing might be better when purchased from a store. Yes, preparing your own Caesar dressing at home can be a treat and a wonderful way to jazz up a salad, especially if you enjoy anchovies. However, we feel that creating your own dressing for a wrap is a bit fussy and extra. Grab your preferred bottle from the store, add however much you like, and revel!

How to cook chicken for chicken Caesar wraps

Chicken Caesar Wraps: Ingredients

  1. 1 cup of white bread, cubed into 12″ cubes
  2. 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon of extra-virgin olive oil
  3. One large (approximately 12 lb.) chicken breast, cut in half lengthwise, along with 3/4 tsp. garlic powder, 3/4 tsp. Kosher salt, and 3/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  4. 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  5. 1 head of chopped romaine lettuce, 2 tablespoons to 1/4 cup of premade or homemade Caesar dressing
  6. 1/4 cup of Parmesan that has been finely grated
  7. four flour tortillas

Chicken Caesar Wraps: Directions

Step 1

Set the oven to 375 degrees. Toss the bread with 1 teaspoon of olive oil, 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of pepper on a baking sheet with a rim. Spread it out evenly and bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden and crisp.

Step 2

Meanwhile, sprinkle oregano, the remaining 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of pepper over the chicken on all sides. The remaining 1 tablespoon of oil should be heated until shimmering in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken, sometimes flipping, for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, or until both sides have a beautiful sear and an instant-read thermometer put into the thickest portion of the breast registers 165°.

Step 3:

Place the chicken on a cutting board. The chicken should be cut into strips after it is cool enough to handle.

Step 4

Combine the chicken, croutons, lettuce, Parmesan, and the desired quantity of Caesar dressing in a large bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste.
