Instructions
1. Prepare the Beef:
- Set the temperature of your grill or grill pan to medium-high.
- Season the beef steak liberally with salt and pepper after rubbing it with olive oil.
- For medium-rare, grill for 3–4 minutes on each side, or cook until done to your liking.
- Before slicing the steak thinly across the grain, take it from the fire and let it to rest for five minutes.
2. Make the Dressing:
- Combine peanut butter, fish sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, honey, garlic, and chilli in a small bowl.
- Add water a little at a time until the dressing is the consistency you want.
3. Assemble the Salad:
- Place the mixed salad greens on individual plates or a big serving dish.
- Add cherry tomatoes, red onion, cucumber slices, cilantro, and mint on top.
- Top with the meat slices and scatter the crushed peanuts on top.
4. Serve:
Serve the salad with the chilli peanut dressing on the side or drizzle it over it liberally. Savor it right away!
Tips:
- Add a sprinkle of chilli flakes or an additional red chilli to the dressing to make it hotter.
- Add crunch: For added texture, add croutons or crunchy fried shallots.
- For a vegetarian alternative, use tempeh or grilled tofu in instead of the beef.
